Today, any cannabis product that a consumer purchases from a licensed dispensary must undergo a series of tests by a state-accredited laboratory.
The tests mainly examine the strength and levels of residual pesticides, CBD and THC, unwanted contaminants, the existence of mycotoxins, and measure the terpene content. Each test requires special procedures and equipment to be performed by carefully licensed and trained professionals.
