Convection

Convection involves the transfer of heat through the vast movement of molecules and fluids. It combines with the inhaled airflow, circulates the current, and uniformly vaporizes the cannabis material. Convection includes an advection and diffusion sub-mechanism and occurs when using a carp cap.

Convection is often a preferred to method to smoke cannabis as the heat source has no direct contact with the herb and it heats the cannabis plant at a uniform rate, which increases the consistency of each stroke and produces a smoother smoking experience.
